Make a Face: Make different faces in a mirror to inspire you. What does your face look like?
Use messy play materials to make, draw, stick, mould, create and change your faces – today’s photo is a face Katie made in the snow; Exaggerate and have fun with features, expressions, do you want to add unicorn horns, super powers?
Material ideas for your face; cereal, fruit, vegetables, draw in flower, foam, whatever you want to use.
How will you design your cardboard person from your pack? What will your person wear? Is it you?
We are developing communication skills, self awareness and appreciating what makes us unique.
At any time: Look after your well-being:
Squeeze your squishy animal (one in each pack) to relieve tension, as a frustration management tool, to regulate the rhythm of your breath & help concentration.
Go outside and get fresh air & exercise whenever you can.
At any time: Nurture our love of books!
Read, read, read: To accompany your Library books: Start you book diary: Draw and write about the stories and factual books that you have read and looked at. Record your favourite parts, was there anything that you didn’t like? Express your thoughts, interpretations and opinions in your notepad (notepad in each pack).
We are feeling heard and valued as we process and recall information & practice mark making skills.
