Welcome back everyone and we hope you all had a good weekend…
Make a collage using scissors: Have a go at cutting paper into small pieces. (Coloured paper and scissors are in your pack.) Cut out different colours of paper & layer to add depth and variation to your picture. Glue where you want to stick your pieces; on a page or on some junk /recycled materials to stick your paper pieces onto. Can you see, cut or create any shapes? A triangle? A square? A circle? Your own shape?
Do you have any rushes in your house at the moment that are left over from St. Brigid celebrations? If so you could ask if you can add these to your collage.
Try folding over a piece of paper twice and then cut out shapes in the fold to create a pattern. You might need a little help.
When we use scissors, we are; improving dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination and being safe & responsible.
If you have sandwich bags, or something that can be filled up for squishing, that will be handy for tomorrow.
Today’ story is ‘What the Ladybird Heard Next’, read by Donna. We hope you enjoy it!
