Build your own wind chime: What makes a noise when bumped together? Will it sound gentle in the wind? 

Effective materials: jam jar or any lids, bottle tops, spoons, old keys, bag of coins, shells, stones, bamboo sticks, tin cans.

To hang it up: clothes hanger, picture frame, wood or a ruler. You will need string or wool to tie on your chimes.

Can you sneak past your chime without making a noise? Close your eyes and listen closely to see if you can guess when somebody is sneaking by!

For tomorrow: Mix one part baking powder with three parts water and a splash of food colouring and pour it in a tub such as a takeaway or old ice cream tub – hide something such as a small toy in the water, then place in the freezer overnight.
