Hi and welcome to Little Stars virtual preschool! Each day there are new and interesting things to do, hear and play. As all Little Stars families know, you can take your ideas and projects as far as you like, in any direction you like – these are ideas to get you started, and your ideas for the group will be warmly welcomed.

Monday 23rd March:

Time to get in to the recycle bin (don’t actually get in it!) and see what you can find for……Project Robot! That’s right Little Stars, Mondays are an arty day. Let’s see what kind of robots we can make – you might like to use tin foil, boxes, egg cartons, toilet roll tubes, paint, old bits of plastic….

You might like to draw out and design your robot first:

What will it do? Does it have a name?

How does it work? What makes it move?

Babies in the house? Let them play with the boxes, stack them up and knock them down, see if you can make them laugh with your robot.

Want to take it further? Can you create a robot world with your junk material or lego? Can you take your robot out to the garden to play, or on a walk?

Remember to make yourselves a Little Stars snack – that’s fruit or vegetables, and water to drink. Email in pictures of your snacks too  (no people in the pictures folks)…good food = good mood.
