The Sky is the Limit week
Today we have a lovely bird Watching/ animal detectives activity:
We have some very keen bird watchers at Little Stars and they had the idea to use cardboard tubes to make telescopes or binoculars. They work brilliantly. Decorate yours as you wish. When you’re ready to explore…Look out for things in the sky or on the ground. Are there any clues, footprints, signs of wildlife? Can you identify any particular species of birds? Can you name any birds or recognise their calls? Can you find a feather?
A tip is to camouflage yourself, like a spy so you don’t disturb them.
Physical activity:
Place a large container like a bin or basin outside. Stand back with your chosen item (a welly, theddy, bean bag, tin foil ball…) and see if you can get it in the container. If it gets too easy, take a few steps back
Today’s story is ‘Aliens Love Underpants’, read by Leanne, we hope you enjoy it!
