‘What Floats Your Boat?’ 

Take a basin of water (preferably outside!) and see what you can get to float in it…

Try petals or leaves, flowers, or how about a cork, soap, foam, stones, tubs for recycling, or paper?

Can you guess if each thing will float or sink? 

With family or toy friends: Sing ‘Row, row, row your boat’, sit down and stretch to hold your partners hands or make an area to be your boat. Where do you want to go? What do you see in the water around you?  You could use the boat you built yesterday for an adventure….
