We have a packed day for you today – you might like to spread it out over the weekend and take your time with each activity. There’s a treasure hunt, a planting activity, Hungry Caterpillar Yoga and a story from the wonderful Donna….

Sensory Treasure Hunt:  Can You find…

Sound 

  1. Something that snaps? 2. Something that sounds quiet? 3. An animal noise ? 4. Something that crunches? 5. The sound of water?

Smell 

1.Something minty? 2.A flower? 3.Your favourite smell? 4.Something outside?  5.A fruit?

Sight: 

1.Something with stripes? 2.Something green? 3.Something in the sky? 4.Something long? 5. 5 of the same thing? 

Touch: 

1.Something smooth? 2.Something wet? 3.Something cold? 4. Something fluffy? 5. Something rough? 

Taste:  

  1. Something citrus or bitter? 2: something sticky 3. Something sweet? 4.Something raw? 5.Something cooked?

Planting:

Each Little Stars resource pack contained giant sunflower seeds and compost.

If you haven’t already, use the cardboard pot and compost to plant your seed. Please remember after it is covered in soil, it needs light and water to grow. You can record it’s progress!
