Watching the Detectives…. Can you find any worms or insects in your garden like in our picture? Can you draw what you find?
Want to stay hidden? Why not make your own telephone so you can talk to people from your hiding place… Speak, sing, talk in code or noises through your cup to somebody a short distance away as they receive your message. Remember to keep the string pulled tight!
How to make your telephone: Find 2 paper cups, yoghurt pots or tins to make a hole in the bottom. (A grown up will need to help you with the hole, by poking a pencil through) Knot a piece of string and thread it through the hole. How long do you want your telephone line to be? Attach the string through the other pot and tie a knot, and chat away!
Secret notes/clues: use white crayon on white paper and paint over with a colour to reveal your hidden message or picture…
We’d love to see pictures of your telephones or revealed secret drawings and messages, so we can share them with everyone….
Today’s story is ‘Bear Feels Shy’, read by Leanne. We hope you enjoy it.
