We have 2 discovery based ideas for you today, and also our music session with Siobhan.
Universe Wall -use tape to make shapes of your own design on a wall (outside! or on a roll of wallpaper) and colour in with chalk. It makes a cool pattern when you remove the tape to reveal your unique shapes. This will also work with paint if you don’t have chalk, but if you don’t want it to be permanent make sure the paint is children’s washable. Can you see any triangles, circles, squares, diamonds or other shapes?
Lazer Maze -Use wool or string, or even rolled up paper, and place it high and low so you can roll and crawl under and climb or jump over. Try not to touch the lazers as you make your way through the maze! Time yourselves for fun! You can place objects such as teddies or toys in the maze to collect as you go – can you collect them all without touching the lazers? Good luck!
